Reporting a Bug
The System Report file
When an error occurs during operation of ATLAS.ti, the user is offered a comfortable way to provide information about this problem to our technical support staff. Along with a log of errors some technical information about the computer, Windows settings and content of ATLAS.ti-related folders is compiled into one compressed file (extension ".atlrep"). This archive file is located in the user system folder.
This report file should be sent as an email attachment to bugsreport@atlasti.com. For your convenience, the default e-mail client is automatically launched, a message to bugsreport composed and the report file is already attached, ready to send, waiting for some additional input by yourself, in case you can provide some more information with regard to the error that occurred.
The contents of this report file can only be interpreted by the developers of the program and is of no use to others. If you file a bug report, make sure you are not sending it to anyone else but bugsreport@atlasti.com.
