Free Upgrade
Can't wait for ATLAS.ti v6.0? Neither could we! This summer, get ready to give your qualitative research an upgrade – for FREE!
When it comes to using multimedia in qualitative data analysis, ATLAS.ti has always been a leader in its field. For over a decade, users all over the world have relied on our software to help them with their research projects – especially when their data includes audio and video material. By giving users the ability to work closely with multimedia data – creating networks, coding, commenting and more – ATLAS.ti makes multimedia data as easy to analyze as text-based data.
And when we introduce ATLAS.ti version 6.0 at the end of this year, the multimedia features will be even better. What's in the new version? Here's a sneak preview:
- Improved user interface
- Improved timeline (like having a video-editing suite within ATLAS.ti!)
- Automatically generated video clips
- Geo Coding
- Full PDF support
We're especially excited about in-depth PDF analysis, a new feature that will allow you to work with PDF files in their native layout. Other QDA packages strip pdfs down to primitive text files; but with ATLAS.ti v6.0 you will be able to keep your original pdf layouts, graphics and all, so your data remains uncorrupted and complete.
All this, plus dozens more improvements and innovations, will be coming your way later this year with ATLAS.ti v6.0. Can't wait that long? Don't worry: this summer, you can get your hands on our intermediate version 5.5. The best part: we will offer it to you for FREE.
Probably the most attractive feature in v5.5: full Windows Media Player compatibility. Behind the scenes, the most appropriate multimedia technology (MCI or DirectShow™) is chosen when you assign a video or audio document. .
So if you want to give your multimedia research an ahead-of-schedule boost, keep your eyes out for the next issue of Inside ATLAS.ti. That's where we will tell you how to get your free upgrade.
Stay tuned, and get ready for your best multimedia projects yet!
