NOTE: The most current version of ATLAS.ti is 5.2.21 (released: 2008-06-12).
Starting with ATLAS.ti 5.0.66, download and installation of updates and service packs has been automated. Simply start the Live Update (Tools | Service Pack Manager) which will perform the update for you. And that's it--the update is now taken care of! You do not need to read further on this page--enjoy your updated ATLAS.ti!
If the procedure is not clear to you for any reason, however, or if you know that your version is older than ATLAS.ti 5.0.66, simply read on. The following pointers will provide a quick orientation on how to best proceed.

My version number is LOWER than 5.0.66
You must first update to 5.0.66 by way of installing Service Pack 3.
My version number is 5.0.66 or higher
All new updates are now comfortably installed by way of Live Update.
Still using ATLAS.ti 4.2?
