When you need help in your work with ATLAS.ti, there are a wide variety of resources at your disposal. In this section, we would like to direct you to the right sources of infomation and support for your problem.
During installation you were offered to view or install of the full 300+ pages manual which can be displayed and printed using the Acrobat Reader software which is also on the CD-ROM. To access it now, simply insert the ATLAS.ti CD-ROM again and select the "manual" item.
The content of the full manual is almost completely accessible via the online help which you can launch with the F1 button. In addition to reading the text, you can search through an index in the usual online help manner. The help system is also sensitive to your current context. For example, with the search dialog open, pressing F1 will yield help to questions concerning the help features.

To ensure that your version of ATLAS.ti is up-to-date, you want to load the latest Service Pack, thereby adding extra functionality and ironing out occasional software bugs.
In fact, we strongly encourage you to update your software with the latest service pack before you contact our support hotline.
You find the version number of your software on ATLAS.ti's main screen. It consists of three different parts. The version major (4 or 5), the version minor (0, 1 or 2) and the "build" number (50, 54, 57, 58, ...).
