Eve R. Weiss, MS
Training Coordinator
Eve Weiss, MS, coordinates course organization, contact with trainees, and course evaluations. She has a bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in film and television production from New York University, and a master's of science degree in food science from the University of Florida. She is is the vice-president of EQR Training & Consulting, Inc.

Ricardo B. Contreras, PhD
Ricardo B. Contreras, PhD, is a qualitative researcher with an undergraduate degree from the Universidad de Chile, and master's and doctoral degrees in applied anthropology from the University of South Florida. He is an assistant professor of anthropology at East Carolina University. Dr. Contreras' research focuses on community health, development, and transnational migration. His articles have been published in the academic journals International Migration, Health Policy, Annals of Anthropological Practice, Social Marketing Quarterly, Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health, and Progress in Community Health Partnerships: Research, Education, and Action Education and Training. He is an active member of the American Anthropological Association, the Society for Applied Anthropology, and the American Public Health Association. Dr. Contreras is a training consultant with ATLAS.ti GmbH.
Kristin Kostick, PhD
Kristin M. Kostick, Ph.D. is an applied medical anthropologist working in the field of HIV/AIDS research and mental health. She has over ten years of experience working with ATLAS.ti in both individual and collaborative research settings. Dr. Kostick has used ATLAS.ti to conduct research in team-based community studies in the US and internationally and has developed a perspective of the software as a collaborative research tool that can be used to merge perceptions and outlooks of multiple investigators and research teams in different areas of the world. Dr. Ksotick has trained colleagues, graduate students, interns and local and international research staff in the US, India and Mauritius, and has used ATLAS.ti to facilitate qualitative data analysis for prevention and intervention health programs.
Gina Higginbottom, PhD
Dr. Gina Marie Awoko Higginbottom holds a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Ethnicity and Health and is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Nursing, at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Gina is Assistant Editor for Ethnicity and Health Journal. Gina's research portfolio focuses on ethnic minority populations and immigrant health using participatory models of research. She has used ATLAS.ti since 1998. Gina has co- chaired the International Institute of Qualitative Methods (IIQM) Advances in Qualitative Methods conference 2009, 2010 and 2011 and is co-chair of IIQM’s 2012 Thinking Qualitatively workshop conference. Gina is an experienced educator with a professional teaching qualification, who has facilitated many undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs in the UK and Canada. Her forthcoming Sage Publications text is entitled Using Participatory Methods in Qualitative Research.
Prof. Ignacio García
Ignacio García é Antropólogo Sociocultural, graduado com honor pela Universidade de Buenos Aires, professor especialista em metodologias de pesquisa e doutorando avançado pela mesma instituição. Com oito anos de experiência no uso da ferramenta, coordenou grupos interdisciplinares de pesquisa e conduziu treinamentos em universidades, institutos de ensino e empresas da Argentina (tais como: Universidade de Buenos Aires, Universidade de San Martin, Instituto de Altos Estúdios Sociais, ente outras), Brasil (Universidade do Rio de Janeiro, Universidade de Campinas, CEBRAP, Universidade do Ceará, Universidade do Vale do Itajaí, IESP, Univali, Universidade do Rio Grande do Sul, entre outras), Bolívia (Universidade San Francisco Xavier), México (Universidade Autônoma do México) e os EE.UU (Universidade de Miami). Consultor Associado do ATLAS.ti desde o 2008, Ignacio é o único Treinador Certificado para o Brasil.
Ani Munirah Mohamad
Ani Munirah Mohamad is a lecturer at the Law Department, College of Law, Government and International Studies, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Sintok, Kedah, Malaysia. Having obtained a bachelors degree in law (LLB Hons.) and a masters degree in comparative law (MCL) from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2003 and 2004 respectively, she practiced law at one of the leading legal firms in Malaysia before deciding to join the academic profession in 2007. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Law at a local public university in Malaysia. Ani runs ATLAS.ti trainings in Malaysia.
Sudhamshu Dahal
Sudhamshu Dahal is journalist, media analyst, trainer and researcher from Nepal. He has worked with various media before involving as strategic communication and media trainer/analyst in development projects for various I/NGOs including UNICEF and UNDP in Nepal. He has a strong research interest on social, cultural and political empowerment in South Asia. He teaches media ethics, culture, media sociology and research methodology to the graduate level students in India. His specialties include development and management of rural community support projects including mass media and interpersonal outreach using rights based program approach. Proficient in policy and program research related to community, communication and development, he is skilled at designing development communication tools, communication management, media skills trainings and qualitative research and analysis. At present he is writing a doctoral thesis on “Empowerment and Community Media”. As a part of the Training Center, Mr. Dahal teaches ATLAS.ti in India and Nepal.
