Workshop Details
2 day small group introductory workshop in Santa Barbara, California
The small group format of this intensive, introductory workshop allows maximum personal attention and one-on-one coaching throughout. Even if you have been using ATLAS.ti, the workshop always starts from ground zero to give you a thorough foundation in how the program is designed, and teaches the most efficient way to use the full range of analytical tools.
Day 1 covers the basic concepts behind the program and its features; strategies for setting up your project and designing your data analysis; using ATLAS.ti appropriately for different approaches to qualitative research; and the theory and practice of coding.
Day 2 covers the advanced features of the program, including the use of graphical networks from the very beginning stages of your project for modeling, concept mapping, and theory building; strategies for data exploration, including using complex retrievals with the Query Tool; and strategies and tools for teamworking.
A manual is provided that introduces important concepts about how ATLAS.ti works, highlights common mistakes and misunderstandings, and provides many important tips and time savers.
