Am ersten Workshoptag wird das allgemeine Programmkonzept vorgestellt und die Teilnehmer/innen erhalten einen Überblick über alle wichtigen Funktionen. Sie lernen, wie sie Daten aufbereiten, ein Projekt erstellen und für die Analyse vorbereiten. Im Anschluss daran werden die technischen Aspekte des Kodierens gezeigt.
Diese Kenntnisse werden dann praktisch umgesetzt mit der Kodierung eines kleinen Beispielprojekts. Dies wird dann als Ausgangspunkt benutzt, um die methodischen Aspekte des Kodierens und den Aufbau eines effizienten Kodiersystems zu diskutieren.

Am zweiten Workshoptag wird diese Thematik vertieft. Des Weiteren werden die technischen wie methodischen Aspekte des Schreibens von Memos eingeführt. Die Teilnehmer/innen erhalten einen ersten Einblick und Überblick über die weiterführenden Auswertungstools sowie eine Einführung in die explorativen und visuellen Darstellungsmöglichkeiten anhand der ATLAS.ti Netzwerkfunktion. 

Lernziele

Ziel des Workshops ist es, die Teilnehmer/innen in die Lage zu versetzen, eigenständig ein Projekt in ATLAS.ti bearbeiten zu können.

Überblick über verschiedene empirische Forschungsmethoden und qualitative Forschungsfragestellungen.
